چکیده

Achyranthes japonica extract (AJE) is derived from a medicinal plant japonica, known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. AJE contains multiple bioactive compounds, including saponins, triterpenoids, phytoecdysteroids, 20-hydroxyecdysone, inokosterone. Aim of this investigation was to examine the impact as phytogenic feed additive on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, excreta microbial count, noxious gas emissions, breast meat quality in broilers. About three hundred sixty, day-old broilers (Ross 308) were assigned into four treatments (five replication cages/treatment, 18 birds/case). Dietary treatments: CON, basal diet; 0.02% AJE, diet with 0.02%; 0.04% 0.06% AJE. Body weight gain increased linearly (p < 0.05) through inclusion during days 7 21, 21 35, well entire experimental period. Besides, intake 35 experiment doses broiler diet. Dry matter digestibility along increasing amounts With supplementation, nitrogen energy utilization tended improve 0.10). In summary, addition corn-soybean meal led higher body enhanced among them highest improvement found 0.06%-AJE indicating acceptance additive.

The influence of phytogenic extracts on performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass characteristics, and gut microbial status in broiler chickens

One thousand five hundred and forty Hybro HI-YR broilers were used in the study. One-day-old chickens were allocated to four groups; in the pen trial each group comprised 5 replications with 56 birds, in the digestibility trial there were 7 replications with 15 birds. The dietary treatments were as follows: unsupplemented control wheat-barley diet or the same diet supplemented with 10 ppm avila...
